At the confluence of the Yamen and Hutiaomen waterways in Xinhui District, Jiangmen, Guangdong, a new waste-to-energy plant now stands as the most striking urban eco-landmark at the estuary, with its unique design conception of "Cloud-Sail Charging Through Waves."

這座由康恒環(huán)境打造的江門新會垃圾焚燒發(fā)電廠,不僅是一座日處理量達1,500噸的現(xiàn)代化能源工廠,更是一場"騰籠換鳥"的生態(tài)變革——它將一座填埋齡長達15年的垃圾填埋場,轉化為資源再生的綠色引擎,實現(xiàn)了土地復用與產(chǎn)業(yè)升級的雙重突破,更憑借極具美感的建筑外立面造型,成為新會別致的城市形象名片。
Built by SUS ENVIRONMENT, the Jiangmen Xinhui Waste-to-Energy Plant is not merely a modern energy facility processing 1,500 tonnes daily, but an ecological transformation—reclaiming a 15-year-old landfill as a green engine of resource regeneration. It achieves dual breakthroughs in land reuse and industrial upgrading, while its aesthetically striking facade has become Xinhui's distinctive "city identity landmark".

這里曾是城市的"生態(tài)傷疤":占地2萬平方米的填埋場里,15萬立方米的陳腐垃圾堆成小山,滲濾液威脅著周邊的水土。如今,康恒環(huán)境自主研發(fā)的"定制化陳腐垃圾篩分設備"與"快速好氧預處理設備",讓這些"沉睡"的城市礦山(陳腐垃圾)重獲新生——篩分出的可燃物經(jīng)焚燒轉化為電能,建筑骨料資源化利用,腐殖土滿足綠化/園林種植用土的相關標準后場地回用,連6萬立方米的污染地下水也被安全凈化處理。
Once an "ecological scar" on the city: a 20,000 m2 landfill held 150,000 m3 of aged waste piled into hills, with leachate threatening surrounding soil and water. Today, SUS ENVIRONMENT's proprietary "customized aged-waste screening equipment" and "rapid aerobic pre-treatment system" have awakened this dormant "urban mine" (aged waste) to new life—combustibles are converted to electricity through incineration; construction aggregate is recycled as a resource; humus meets landscaping and gardening standards before being reused on-site; and 60,000 m3 of contaminated groundwater has been safely treated.

The site has not only reclaimed 20,000 m2 of valuable land, but now hosts a 1,500-tonne-per-day waste-to-energy plant that continuously protects urban ecological environment.
From "pollution source" to "energy hub," SUS ENVIRONMENT honors its environmental mission through technology, restoring vitality to this land via ecological remediation and waste recycling and energy utilization.

江門地處珠江三角洲西部,自古水運發(fā)達,是古代海上絲綢之路的重要節(jié)點。歷史上水面往來的帆影,既是江門的歷史記憶,也是城市的超級符號。
Located in western Pearl River Delta, Jiangmen has long been a hub of water transport and a vital node on the ancient Maritime Silk Road. The sails that once dotted its waters are both historical memory and the city's super-symbol.

項目由UUA建筑師事務所操刀設計,從江門的海洋文化中汲取靈感,把風帆作為建筑核心意象——近800米的建筑群如揚起的船帆,在入??诘某快F中勾勒出優(yōu)雅的曲線。鋁板與玻璃的組合幕墻,在陽光下折射出粼粼波光,仿佛水面泛起的漣漪,營造出層層帆影航行于山海之間的意境。
Designed by United Units Architects (UUA), the project draws inspiration from Jiangmen's maritime culture, the design team adopted sails as the core architectural imagery. The nearly 800-meter-long building cluster stretches along the terrain, resembling billowing sails. The aluminum-and-glass curtain wall refracts shimmering light under the sun, like ripples on water, creating an atmosphere of layered sails navigating between mountains and seas.

風帆是一種源自于古人的智慧,將大自然中的風轉化為驅動船舶前進的動力;而垃圾焚燒發(fā)電是現(xiàn)代人的智慧,將垃圾變廢為寶,轉化為寶貴的能源。風帆成為一種關于能量轉化和利用的隱喻。
這樣的設計,不僅兼具美觀與內涵,更有效破解了環(huán)保設施的"鄰避效應"——康恒環(huán)境用設計打破偏見:環(huán)保設施不必是城市的"異物",它可以是文化的載體、景觀的焦點,更可以是市民心中的"驕傲"。
Sails represent ancient wisdom—harnessing wind to propel vessels forward. Waste-to-energy generation represents modern wisdom—transforming trash into treasure. The sail becomes a metaphor for energy conversion and utilization.
This design balances beauty with meaning, breaking the NIMBY effect. SUS ENVIRONMENT uses design to break prejudice: environmental infrastructure need not be an alien object in the city; it can be a cultural vessel, a landscape focal point, and a source of civic pride.

剝開"風帆"的浪漫外衣,電廠的內核是極致的工業(yè)理性。
建筑表皮的設計暗藏玄機:幕墻以1m為基本模數(shù),生成四種寬度風帆組團,有效優(yōu)化建筑外觀并控制成本;同時采用白鋁板與玻璃組合,形成微妙的肌理變化,為建筑增添細膩層次,兼顧美觀、標準化制造與后期維護。
Beneath the romantic sail imagery lies a core of uncompromising industrial rationality.
The facade design features exquisite structural precision: the curtain wall uses 1m as the basic module, generating four sail clusters of varying widths to optimize aesthetics and cost control. White aluminum panels combined with glass create subtle textural variations, adding delicate layers that balance visual appeal, standardized fabrication, and long-term maintainability.

而在這座"美學工廠"內部,垃圾正經(jīng)歷著"變廢為寶"的奇幻旅程:每日約1,500噸垃圾進入廠區(qū),從進料口到焚燒爐,從余熱鍋爐到發(fā)電機,每一道工序都被精準控制,最終實現(xiàn)廢棄物轉化為清潔電能、煙氣與污水"零排放",爐渣也被制成建材回用。讓環(huán)保不再是口號,而是可量化、可感知的現(xiàn)實——它關乎每一度電的清潔,每一滴水的循環(huán),更關乎城市未來的可持續(xù)發(fā)展。
Inside this "aesthetic factory," waste embarks on a magical journey from trash to treasure. Approximately 1,500 tonnes of waste enter the plant daily, moving from feed hoppers to incinerators, from waste-heat boilers to generators—every process precisely controlled. The result: waste converted to clean electricity, flue gas and wastewater achieve near-zero discharge, and slag repurposed as construction material. Environmental protection becomes not a slogan, but a quantifiable, tangible reality—measured in every clean kilowatt-hour, every recycled drop of water, and every step toward the city's sustainable future.
